    A little about me.....
    * Drew {my husband} first kissed me in 1991, we've been in love ever since.
    * I grew up in a large family, loved it & continued the trend.
    * Shopping is relaxing and therapeutic.
    * Bright colored stripes and the color orange thrill me.
    * I have a weakness for purses & bags of all shapes and sizes.
    * The question "What's for dinner?" stresses me out.
    * Pretty painted toenails make me happy, the crazier the color the better!
    * I love the tranquility of a clean house, but rarely get to experience that.
    * I regularly try to quit drinking Diet Coke with little success.
    * Photographing people is the best creative outlet I could ever ask for.

Beginners Workshop 2010: Georgia

WHEN: Saturday, February 27

TIME: 10:00am – 1:00pm

WHO: Beginners who want to better understand their camera and learn to take better photos with it. *Not intended for persons looking to start a photography business or for photographers who already have a photography business.

WHERE: Sara Anthony Photography Studio  *Class size is limited to best accommodate a more productive learning environment.

COST: $75*

*Includes snacks, notes, notebook, and camera-bag-sized reminder guide {so that your workshop info. is at your finger tips the next time you go out to shoot!}

WHAT TO BRING: Your Digital SLR Camera and camera manual.  Considering the recent weather, you may also want to bring a hat and gloves for the time we head outside!

WHAT WILL BE COVERED/ANSWERED:

Understanding your camera functions: What do the cute little flower and running man mean on my camera? If I want to learn to shoot manually, what are some baby steps I can take to begin that process?

Photo composition: Best ways to crop a photograph.

Archiving: How to best archive your photos.

Lighting: How do I find the most flattering natural light when taking photographs both inside and outside?

Storytelling: When I tell my child to say cheese, I get the cheesiest smiles! How can I change that? How can I get a genuine expressions from my child?

Hands On Training: We’ll head outside to practice all that you’ve learned the first half of the class.  Adorable models will be on hand for you to test your new skills on.

Question and Answer Time: I will leave time to answer questions after each topic taught.

Winter Workshop

Just in case you receive an SLR {ability to change lenses} digital camera for Christmas and you want to know what in the world to do with it.  I’ll be teaching a beginners workshop on Sat. February 27. More details will follow after Christmas!

*Intended for novice photographers. AKA: moms/dads who would like to take better pictures of their kids.

Spencer: South Atlanta/Newnan Newborn Photographer

Changing of seasons has brought with it a switching of gears.  I’m shifting from the fashion side of senior photography to the “trigger finger” mode of kids and babies.  Kids move so fast and newborns sleep or don’t, it’s all matter of how long you’re willing to wait.   And wait we did…..
