The grand opening for the Sara Anthony Photography Studio at Serenbe was this past Sunday in conjunction with the May Day Festival. For all my Michigan family and friends that couldn’t make it, I’ve made this post for you! Of course, you’re still welcome to visit any time!
The shop on the left photo are my upstairs friends, the Bloom girls, Lauren and Lindsey. Oh, their shop is yummy! You can bet I’ll be posting some of their items in the very near future! The water feature below is the view from my front door, and the photo on the right is my front door before I got my hands on it.
The cute owner of Fire Equipment Service Center {AKA my husband} hooked me up with a fire extinguisher. The other photos in this series are of prop storage, kids’ nook and make-up prep. area.

This Sunday, May 2nd is the Grand Opening of the Sara Anthony Photography Studio in Serenbe. In conjunction with the Serenbe May Day Festival, we will be celebrating opening day of the new studio. Come out from 1-5pm and help us celebrate! We’ll have a complimentary photo booth available for fun shots of the kids or a new profile Facebook photo of you! There will be discount card giveaways for summer photo sessions to the first 200 that stop by the studio. You’ll find us behind the Bloom Shop on Selborne Rd. Follow the orange and pink balloons, then snag one from us for the kids!
There are so many things that I love about Serenbe, but one of my favorites is the field of daisies. I’ve dreamt of photographing in them for a long time. On Sunday, May 9 my dreams will come true. I’ll be shooting half hour mini sessions in the field. Sign ups are based on a first come first serve basis. We will begin taking reservations on May Day at the Grand Opening!

Let the season begin….. senior photo season that is. Zoe helped kick things off for us here at Sara Anthony Photography.
She has the kind of hair that I ALWAYS wanted when I was growing up. Perms just don’t cut it compared to God-given curls. If you knoew me in the 80s, you know the perm was not good to me. Yikes! Zoe has the real things, beautiful natural curls! I’m only a tiny bit jealous.

2010 Graduate Sophia has some of my favorite gum heading her way! She correctly guessed that the “Fruit Photos” are to compliment my Senior Collection names….. Apples, Oranges and Fruit Salad! Way to go Sophia. Email me the address you’d like me to send your treat to!
