We took some photos outside then moved inside for some studio images. Kimber’s mom has a pink scarf that has been a part of each milestone session. In preparation for the session, I had been trying to think of how incorporate the scarf into her 6 month session, and here’s what I came up with….
Toward the end of our time together I believe Kimber was sending me a clear message…. “I am DONE having my picture taken!!”

This little guy was one happy 3 month old. He made us work for actual smiles from him though. Mom and I were toy shaking, toe tickling and sweet talking for quite awhile. Then finally he decided we were pretty funny and he smiled! Always nice to capture “new tricks” on camera, smiles especially.

Changing of seasons has brought with it a switching of gears. I’m shifting from the fashion side of senior photography to the “trigger finger” mode of kids and babies. Kids move so fast and newborns sleep or don’t, it’s all matter of how long you’re willing to wait. And wait we did…..
…and wait.
Don’t let him fool you here. He was only thinking of sleeping.
And then….. Crash. Out. I bet he slept the whole way home too. Modeling is hard work!

This little one has done some growing this year. It’s been a pleasure for me to watch her grow. I met her last year as a sleepy newborn. You may remember her from here.

While in Michigan I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable newborn. It sure took him awhile to settle in, but once he did, I had a great time molding him into these cute little baby poses.
He’s very loved by his older siblings, that was clear!
