I woke up to the sounds of thunder. No, make that, thunder woke me up. The outdoor wedding had been moved inside the night before for fear of such an event. However, the bride didn’t miss a beat. She just went with the flow, with the greatest of ease. It turned out to be a beautiful day despite the rain drops we dodged all day.

The more weddings I shoot, the more I love the prep. shots. It’s so emotional and meaningful. I feel privileged to be a part of such a special time.




My sister in law Renee, that I’d much prefer to just call sister, was my second shooter at this wedding. She captured several of these images. The girl rocks. I can’t wait to be HER second shooter in July.
