First off, sorry for the blog slacking. I have many fun sessions to share, but I'll save it for later. Perhaps for the new year with a new blog…. it's in the works. For now, meet the mascot of Sara Anthony Photography, fashioned with stripes for course!……….
Padme Skywalker {I feel like I need to say she came with that name.}
Christmas came early at our home. Drew and I finally caved to the pleas of our children. They caught us in a weak moment and next thing I knew, we were dog owners. She's about the best dog a girl could ask for. I'm not ashamed to admit, I'm pretty smitten. I will say, I never thought those words would leave my lips regarding a DOG!
I have no idea how to photograph dogs. In fact whenever a dog has accompanied a family to a session I inwardly tremble. The problem, I don't know how to read dogs. Therefore I don't know when to snap the photo. Is that a good dog look or a scared dog look or a "I'm going to attack you" dog look? I don't know.
For this session I just treated our newest addition like I would a toddler who can crawl. Stick her on an object she can't move from and feed her treats.
