I always encourage accessories to compliment outfits, especially with senior girls. My latest senior had some great items and I just happened upon a red door that coordinated beautifully with them. I have no idea how I've missed this door in the past, but it's going to become a regular stop now!! I love the door. I love the accessories. I could have done without the drizzling rain though.
Oh and check out the shoes…. I'm a sucker for red.

…..a junior was in the studio this week.
He had amazing blue eyes and a love for his mommy. He responded to her singing beautifully.
Not so much to my tunes…..
Okay, so my vocals didn't really make him cry, but he totally knew his momma's voice and clearly adored it.

My little Ava.
It's just the two of us home now, since the big kids are all back to school.
I was cleaning up the studio this week and Ava asked me if I was going to take some pictures of her. I gladly said I would. And so an impromptu session erupted.
Here's a side of Ava I see a lot….
Hands on hips because, "I can do it myself" she tells me!

This latest Senior wanted a few pix with her car. When I saw the adorable little vehicle I could see why! As we headed downtown, I was looking for the perfect spot for her and the mini to be photographed. I found it near a building I've shot at before on weekends. Well on this weekDAY it was open for business, so I checked with the owner to be sure it was okay for us to drive up on his property. It was more than okay with him. In fact, he thought a car like that needed wind blown hair on the model. I agreed, but on that VERY HOT morning there was no wind to be found. He said, "If you can give me 5 minutes I'll run and get a fan and extension cord. I knew I'd be there for a bit, so I agreed. In a whirl he was back, necessary items in hand. I was so surprised I forgot to take a photo of his set up, but it worked! Check it out….
