Some cute boys, who love cars, are about to have a lot of pink invade their home very shortly. Their little sister will be arriving in a few short weeks. I use the term “short” loosely because I’m sure Mom is feeling pretty ready. I know I always was ready to get the wee one out! You can’t turn in bed. Picking items up from the floor turns almost impossible. Not to mention, the swelling. Well, this mom is looking hot through it all. And, it’s not fair that she looks so pretty right down to her toes! Her un-swollen toes, I might add.
I usually don’t have a problem choosing B&W or color for a photo. This time I fell in love with both of them.
I little behind the scenes action on a few photos. The photos sum up life with kids, I think.

Ellexa did an amazing performance at her school talent show. She choreographed a dance to the Casting Crowns song “I will praise you in this storm”. I was one proud mom! I still can’t believe she got up on stage, all by herself, in front of hundreds of people, and performed her little heart out. It was an excellent opportunity for her to put all her drama to good use!
American Idol was the theme of the night. My girl made it to Hollywood. Ok, so they all made it. But had they chosen THE American Idol; it SO would have been my kid!

I see Jaxton growing out if his oh- so-naughty stage and creating art in the locations it was intended. It makes me smile and sometimes even laugh.
The whisker-like sticks coming out of the chin on his self portrait, Jaxton tells me they are his legs! I love it!
Now the younger sister is yet to grow out of that stage. We had a mishap this weekend that made me really sad. My new Juicy wallet and Coach purse will never be the same. However, her baby-doll received the largest makeover. My friend comforted me with the fact that I have a “one of a kind” Juicy wallet now.

Yes, we received some snow this weekend. A few flakes did manage to accumulate and it nearly shut the whole city down. It was rather funny for this Michigander. Before all that, one last 2008 senior squeezed in a session before the 2009 grads start making their appointments! He made my job so easy because he was such a natural in front of the camera.
