I’ve always wanted……longed…… wished for curly hair. Hair doesn’t get much straighter than mine, but I keep wishing. As a child with my hair tangled in rollers and the scent of perm chemicals dripping from my split ends, I attempted to mimic curls. I thought I’d gotten past the curl longing until I began editing this session. It came flooding back, that stubborn desire for curls. What I wouldn’t give to have beautiful cascading curls like this client’s. Well it shall not be, so I guess I’ll go plug in my curling iron!

Rachel, It’s all those years of perms!! Some of it finally stuck.
I got my hair cut the other day and the stylist said “hey you have some natural curl hiding back here!” I never thought I would hear those words. My mom would be so proud!
