Allow me to begin by saying my mother is an excellent proof reader. She’s been at it long before I was in school, but it sure came in handy while I was. Now that I’m out of the house and grown I no longer have that great motherly feature a room away. Well, actually that is not entirely true. I have on more than one occasion received a phone call saying that she has visited my blog and well, there are a few typos I need to attend to. The problem is she’s not the first to read my blog entries or even the hundred and fifty first. A week… a month could have gone by and she’ll finally mosey through my blog and get updated only to then let me know that back in June I misused a comma.
All that to say, I hate it when I have typos! I hate that in the 10+ times I proof read it; I missed it! So last week when I said "WHAT to meet a good looking family" I meant to say WANT WANT "WANT to meet a good looking family". AHHHH! We’re going to try this again with another super cool good looking family.
WANT TO MEET A GOOD LOOKING FAMILY?
* NOTE: I have since fixed the typo, however I’m sure there are many more out there and more to come. Do not feel the need to pick up my mother’s cross. ;0) Please, just overlook them and enjoy the spirit of the blog!
Now on to the latest beautiful people I had the pleasure of photographing…….
These kids had me laughing quite a bit through their session!!
Everyone has a little superhero in them.
Another mom who totally gets my style….. She allowed her kids to pick out their owns outfits. She wants to have these photographic keepsakes, look back at them, and remember exactly who were kids were at this stage in life. Jersey. Favorite T-shirt. Black nail polish. I love it!

Wow. Thanks for being "deep" with me on the last post. I loved reading about how God has so amazingly blessed my friends.
I had a few inquires about the textures used on the photo. They are none other than the brilliant Jesh de Rox‘s textures. I’ve loved playing around with them. I highly recommend them.
Now on to my latest photos. My parents were here for a visit and I stole some time to photograph them. My mother would prefer for me to post all posed photos, but how boring would that be?! I want you to see the happy, funny side of my parents. Isn’t that what you want to capture with a photo anyway?….. who they really are.
So first up, a very traditional pose for my mom.
Now on to my favs.
My dad with his best "manly" pose.
And finally, my favorite of all favorites!

I took so many photos this past vacation. Somehow this one was overlooked, but I found it today and I love it. It seems to sum up the deep heritage of faith we have in our family. Drew and I were both raised by amazing parents that passed on their faith in Jesus Christ to us. In return, we have know passed it on to our children. We are truly blessed.
In what ways do you feel blessed? Leave it in the comments box (kind of deep, I know, but I’m feeling deep today).
