I have a friend here in Georgia that has made my transition here SO much easier. She’s beautiful both inside and out. Another bonus, our husband’s get along too. We all love hanging out together. Movies, dinner, cookouts, campfires, concerts, whatever, they’re up for it. One thing we haven’t done enough of together….. shop. Which is crazy since we both love it. We need to change that!

I met with an amazing family this afternoon. While looking through all their photos, I kept picking the laughter shots as my favorites to share with you. They were to stinkin’ fun to work with!

Here comes a cute one. If you get a "baby itch" at the sight of an adorable little one, you may want to close your eyes. I had a hard time narrowing down the photos to highlight, so there are quite a few.

This guy has talent oozing from him. Throughout the whole shoot he was playing his guitar. Loved that. It was very relaxing. I asked if he’d come to all my shoots and play. It could really help with the rambunctious 2 year olds I think.
The guitar isn’t all he plays. He jammed out on some drums too. Not as relaxing, but very cool. His mom wanted to have some photos of him with his drums. However, when I said "Bring them downtown; that would be sweet." She couldn’t see the vision, but trusted me. I’m so glad she did.

I celebrated my 34th birthday yesterday. A big "Thank you" to all my well wishers. I totally enjoyed myself and I feel rather young considering the number I represent. My birthday gift is on it’s way. It was made available for purchase on my very birthday!! The super cool SHOOTSAC. I’ve been wanting and waiting for this camera lens bag. I didn’t get the cover I was REALLY wanting, the Baroque. I had to settle for what was left, the Festive. I’m hoping to have it in time for my Michigan sessions.
