My first Michigan session was a maternity one. It was a great way to launch a weekend of shoots. Creativity flows easily with a radiant mom-to-be, who gave me full creative license and an amazingly decorated home as a backdrop.
Oh, and get this. She’s 8 months pregnant with twins. It is as you see it…. one little bump, two babies inside.

It’s good to be back in my own bed, but what a great time I had. I’ll share some photos soon from my MI sessions. For now, here are a few pix of my boys with their gifts I bought for them while I was gone.
I bought Jax a much wanted Webkinz. Not that he knows how to care for it online, but more that he wants to be like his big brother and sister.
Jalen received a pair of Vans. He’s very into what he wears (picky, very picky) and these sneakers were a want.

I’ll have limited access to email while I’m away. I’ll be back to blogging and GA clients’ sessions/orders when I return toward the end of next week. A special thanks to all the MI clients that booked. I’m praying for NO RAIN!

Last night I was painting my toe nails and Ava begged, "Me, me, me!" I said, "No, you’ll make a mess." I was thinking she’d never sit still, she’d touch her wet toes and nail polish would be everywhere. Drew said he’d do it, so I let him go for it and deal with the consequences. I saw SO wrong. Ava sat as still as a mouse and watched every toe receive it’s allotted paint.
It takes team work to blow them dry…….
Ta Da!

I’ve found a few more "must share" items for you to enjoy. This is a LONG post you may want to read it over a period of a few days. It’s the last one for awhile because I will be heading to Michigan for a week. I will be too busy to blog.
ONE: I know I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s worth mentioning again. I have an amazingly talented brother who works magic with a video camera. He created a video for his son’s fifth birthday (something he does for each one of his kids on their birthday). Check it out HERE.
These next two items are time savers that bring joy to my week……
TWO: Calling all Newnan and surrounding area residents! Listen up, this will dramatically change your life for the better. As a mother of 4, you can imagine how much laundry I have each week. In fact, I’ve blogged more than once about my inability to keep up with all the loads! I’ve discovered a solution that is worth every penny. It’s company called TAKE A LOAD OFF. I now put my bags of laundry on my porch in the morning and in the afternoon of the SAME DAY our clothes are back. Clean, folded, and ready to put away.
Check it out Locals and tell them Sara sent you!!
THREE: This third item rocks, but apparently I’m behind the times. When I mentioned it to my brother, he couldn’t believe I’m just now using it. As you may already know, I’m a huge blog reader. I have a list of them I check and read rather religiously. My favorites are people who update often! Well, I recently entered them all into Googlereader and it’s one stop reading. I click on it and it tells me who’s posted something new. I love it . I no longer have to hop around from sight to sight. One-stop-reading. It’s a huge time saver.
Ah, and finally a photo. What’s a post without a photo?
You’re probably wondering what I do with all my spare time now that I’ve found the above mentioned discoveries? Well, I make homemade meals with my daughter in our matching aprons and take them to new mother’s in the neighborhood. I wish I could hear all the laughter as you read this. Actually, I think my father was just as shocked and that’s why he took the photo. He’s staying with us this summer and he gets to see firsthand how few meals I cook. So Mom, he’s either going to come home to you super skinny from lack of nutrition or extremely over weight from eating out all the time. Either way, we’re taking good care of him. Promise.
