My trips to Michigan include a get together with good photography buddy, Stephanie. Christmas break was no different. This time we expanded the gathering to include another fellow photographer, Amy. We had a great time talking shop.
So what do a group of photographers do when they get together? Take pictures, of course. What if we don’t have a subject to photograph? We all take turns being "the subject". Here are a few photos of me the girls captured.
Thanks girls.

We went to………
It was live at the Fox theater. It was very well done. We all enjoyed it. I totally recommend it. If it comes to your city, GO. Drew and I took our 2 oldest. We had so much fun. The whole experience made me realize that my kids are growing up.

……….to IZZE. I can’t get enough of this drink. My sister turned me on to it while I was "vacationing" at her house this fall. I’ve since fallen in love with every last flavor. My only regret, I let my husband have a sip. Now he’s addicted. They’re such small little cans that empty way too fast. I can’t seem to keep our fridge stocked. I suggest you try one or two. I could only find it at Target. Good Luck, it’s worth the search!

I’m warm with excitement over here in cold GA. (Yes, it’s actually cold for once & it’s about time. Now if we could just get some snow.) Anyway, I entered my first contest ever and I won!!! I’m now the proud owner of a new interface, compliments of the cool guys over at Bludomain . The contest was to "send a picture of you – holding a sign with the name of your favorite photographer ".
Here’s my winning entry……….
Thanks Rachel Rydbeck for helping me by shooting a great photo.
**Nate & Jaclyn Kaiser can be found here. How did I narrow it down to them? They constantly blow me away with their creativity and ability to find light or create it (see their blog entry on the Audi headlights as lighting). In addition, there was this one time I had a question about something photog. related. I emailed them about it, never thinking they’d have time to respond, but they did and quickly. That’s unheard of. Thanks Kaisers!
