The ones that have welcomed us with open arms to Georgia. They’ve allowed us to invade every aspect of their lives and they still invite us to dinner. They’ve shared their city, their church, and their friends without hesitation. They’ve made our transition so much easier. I’m blessed to be related to such thoughtful people. They are the "real deal", down to earth kind of family you can be yourself around, and I love them for it. I count them as more than family, they’re friends.
One more…… Drew’s brother, do you see any resemblance?

Ava’s about to turn one and I guess Jax decided that made her eligible for his "Trouble Seeking" program he successfully heads up.
While making dinner Tuesday evening this is what I found on our back porch……
In case anyone was wondering, that’s the color of one of the walls in our master bedroom. It’s a really cool color, but not so cool all over my kids!

My website is officially up and running. My previous one was so old and outdated, out of embarrassment, I quit sending people there. Thanks to my friend and technical wiz, Christy, my website has a new and fresh look. I love it. Thanks Christy for all your time and effort. Check it out everybody….

Somebody’s turning……………
O-N-E, one!!!!!!!!
I know, I know, if you spend as much time reading photog. blogs as I do, you know everyone uses the tutu to capture girls being girlie. Well this "event" was screaming for one, so I pulled out the tutu……. out of my shopping bag that is! I found this cute little number at T.J.Maxx. So full and cute and CHEAP, got to love a bargain.
Ava pulled out all her big-girl-tricks. She was blowing kisses, showing us how old she is, and clapping with delight. How did she get so big? Hard to believe a year has gone by already, WOW!

Here’s a picture of pure, unadulterated, never ending, self-sacrificing, genuine LOVE.
Yes, those are my feet along side my husband’s at a baseball game. A game… that I knew not ONE of the players, yet I still attended. A game…. that the word love does not come to mind when thought of. However, a game…. that my husband loves and I love him, so I attended. My first Braves game, their last one of the season. Surprisingly, we had a great time!
Edited to Add: It wasn’t all bad, I actually got a tan. Oct 1st and I got some sun! Now that’s a first.
