Jalen has been begging to have a Kool-Aid Stand since we moved in. I was reluctant to let him do it because we have very few homes near us with occupancy. It’s construction everywhere (lots of dirt, yuck!) and I didn’t think he’d get much business. While grocery shopping last evening he asked me yet again; I gave in. We bought juice with plans for a stand today.
Jalen was ready to sell and Ellexa quickly joined him by running her scooter up and down the road saying, "Juice for sale 25 cents!". I didn’t consider all the thirsty construction workers! The kids SOLD OUT in about 25 minutes! It was a huge success. I’m guessing I’ll be receiving more requests throughout the summer for another Kool-Aid Stand.
A kool-aid mustashe is part of the uniform!
They did drink some of their product of course! I’m sure they were just testing to be sure it was cold enough.
